I loved using this product, it was very moisturizing at first and has a pleasant smell. But it’s not long lasting, within a few days my scalp was dried out and I began to get dandruff when that normally doesn’t happen. It says that this product works against dandruff so that was confusing but it may have been an ingredient that doesn’t work for me.
I do love the whipped buttery consistency and still think it’s a great product.

Yes, our Shea Hair Butter protects the scalp from bacteria, fungi, and germs that can cause itchiness on the scalp, dandruff, infection, scalp acne, and inflammatory skin conditions like eczema which can spread to the scalp.
It's not enough to just apply oil to your hair every 3 or 4 days. Based on stress levels, sweating, and other environmental factors, the hair butter can be easily "washed" away. So if your scalp becomes dry 3 days after using it, your body is telling you that you need to reapply. This is a product intended on being applied frequently.
