Probably the worst deodorant I’ve ever purchased. Becomes incredible messy because it’s more of a clay. Clogged the pores underneath my armpit and left me with a painful sore. Would not recommend this deodorant to anybody. Horrible experience

We recommend that you detoxify your armpits first. This will allow sweat production to normalize and will eliminate the toxins that built up caused by years of using chemical-filled deodorants or antiperspirants.
We recommend you use our Bentonite Clay or DIY Detox Mask to use for armpit detox. Both will help pull out toxins and clear your pores! Just add water or apple cider vinegar to the clay, apply it to your armpits for 15 minutes, then rinse. By doing this, you will maximize the effectiveness of our natural deodorant because it will now penetrate deeper into your skin instead of just sitting on your skin.

Another factor that makes deodorant more effective is by washing your body more often. The deodorant's effectiveness is 10 times more effective if the person showers twice a day and applies this afterward.

I've tried many natural deodorants (Native, Schmidt's, creams, etc.) and the GG deodorant performs slightly better than most. It really does keep you fresh for more than 18+ hours (I work in healthcare...12hr+ shifts...and I don't smell at the end of each shift. My clothes might, but I don't lol). You definitely have to apply it as the instructions say—a few downward strokes, let it sit for 5mins (iron your clothes, make your tea), and then rub it in thoroughly. I don't really like all the steps, but it's worth it to not smell at the end of the day.
I love this deodorant! Goes on clean, doesn’t make a mess on clothes. Works great against odor and sweating!
This product works really well and is effective. The scent is also not overwhelming. However, you have to make sure you read and follow the directions, which states to put on 15-30 swipes of the product, wait 5 minutes and then rub the remaining in.
This the best natural deodorant. This keeps me dry & odor free throughout the day from 7a until 10p. This Texas summer heat puts this deodorant to the test & it passes with flying colors every time.
This deodorant didn't work for me at all, I didn't need any detoxing since I've been using natural deodorant for years. I wanted to give this deodorant at least a week but it has been two days and so far it has made me smell worse before the day is even over. Also, for some reason the deodorant slightly irritates my skin and is making it dark and flaky. Is it possible to get a full refund?

If you just transitioned to our natural MG Deodorant, you are still most likely in the detox stage. During this process, your glands are releasing the toxins caused by the antiperspirants that you were using. It sometimes causes irritation, redness, or even rash, especially to those who have sensitive skin. The irritation will usually go away a few days after. For now, please stop using it to prevent further discomfort.

I swear y'all, Mr. Garner is one of the most outstanding individuals I have ever had the pleasure to learn from! His knowledge is vast,his heart is as big as it could be,and his team of customer service reps, manufacturing team, and everyone involved is amazing! This citrus blend smells so good! I am happy that this product is now scented! The unscented magnesium product worked just fine but now I feel like I smell cleaner and fresher than before. My clothes also smell nicer after using lavender-scented deodorant. I have yet to try the citrus one. I found this product kept me fresh during my intense sweaty workouts. You do have to apply the instructed number of applications for it to keep you fresh. Also be sure to let the deodorant sit under your arms for a while before putting your shirt on because it will leave a heavy shea butter stain. I find that I can use fewer applications when I am not going to be super active or profusely hot and sweaty. Garner's Garden is my go-to for deodorant and oral care products. This deodorant does the trick, I tried the natural charcoal deodorant from GG and it was a flop for me. I must say GG handled my disappointment promptly and professionally I was very satisfied with their resolution. This one works MUCH better for me, it keeps me dry, doesn’t stain my clothes, and most importantly I’m not smelly.
I ordered the Lavender Magnesium Deodorant. I already have the Lemongrass and unscented and they work great. 30 strokes under each arm and I am good for the day. I never thought natural deodorant would hold me but Garner’s Garden proved me wrong! I love it!
