What goes into your mineral scrub.
Bentonite and kaolin for excess oil
These absorbent clays take up oil at the skin’s surface. They give the formula a cleansing role in areas that tend to become shiny, such as the forehead, nose and chin.
Coconut oil for softness
Coconut oil contributes conditioning lipids that help soften the skin. It also gives the mineral blend slip, so the scrub moves across damp skin during massage.
Palm kernel oil for a supple finish
Palm kernel oil adds to the scrub’s conditioning base. Together with coconut oil, it supports a comfortable skin feel alongside the clay, neem powder and sodium borate in the formula.

Daily cleansing removes surface dirt, but dead skin can still accumulate and leave your complexion feeling uneven. Mineral Exfoliating Scrub uses physical texture to loosen that layer. A light massage is what makes it an exfoliating step; the particles provide the polishing action without needing firm pressure.
How to use it
After cleansing with Oil Cleansing Method, apply a small amount of Mineral Exfoliating Scrub to damp skin. Massage gently in circular motions, focusing on your forehead, nose and chin. Rinse thoroughly with warm water, then apply your serum or moisturizer. Use 2–3 times a week.
For external use only. Avoid the eye area and broken or irritated skin. Stop use if irritation occurs. Oils can make shower or tub surfaces slippery; take care when rinsing.

I have been in Skin Care as a licensed Esthetician and Instructor for 30 years. I began a couple of years ago buying your Exfoliating Scrub because it's a product of quality that difficult to find... the quality of the new small version does absolutely nothing, it's a poor mixture. It's unfortunate because I had recommended it to my daughter's and student's, sharing the previous version. And now it's disappointing. And if you truly believe that the new mixture is better, (based on the email response to my concern) well I guess you will find out when you get more responses or people stop buying it. I won't be repurchasing it. And the fact that you can clearly see the difference between the two, I'm astonished by your reply. But so be it. I will count it as a wash, since I wouldn't even give it away.

I have eczema and generally incredibly dry skin. I had a few dry spots and eczema patches on both sides of my face, today I noticed they're clearing up and my skin is returning back to its original color in those places!

This product is hard to use as it came in the jar hard and compacted. I had to pry the scrub out of the jar and add some water to loosen it up. Too much work...
Hello! We apologize for any inconvenience caused. Regarding consistency, it may naturally thicken during colder seasons. We recommend storing it at room temperature rather than in a cold place to maintain a better consistency.

I love using this after I rinse off the face wash. I let it sit for about a 1 minute to let it activate, then gently massage it over my face as instructed. This leaves my face feeling so SMOOTH and GLOWING!

I have acne prone skin and hyperpigmentation. I use the mineral scrub twice a week then a 3rd time in a full restorative facial routine. It's a nice scrub that you should use gently. If you use it right (gently and after cleansing) it'll remove dead skin and not dry out your skin.

Leaves skin feeling soft. It is a bit messy when you use it for your body so I suggest you stand in the shower first.

Ive used the charcoal scrub from garners garden, which works just fine, but tends to turn my sink and tub black anytime i use it.
This scrub on the other hand is definitely my favorite of theirs! My skin feels soft and renewed after i use it, and it comes off much easier than the charcoal scrub! I have always had very dry skin, but this scrub keeps my face feeling moisturized for several days! I can't recommend it enough!

This scrub is very gentle but powerful when it comes to removing the dead skin off of your face and body. I use it on my face twice a week and my skin stays clear.

If you want to get the true benefit out of this scrub/face mask, you are going to have to use it as a traditional face mask in that when you apply it to your face, you will need to leave it on for 20-30 minutes (maybe 15 if you're pressed for time).
I tried using this product as directed on the label, and I ALMOST threw it away out of frustration! IT IS NOT MEANT TO BE USED AS A DAILY and the directions should state this! I also almost threw this out due to it having coconut oil AND the fact that during the chillier/colder months, the contents are as hard as a rock and it requires sitting in a hot bowl of water (covered with aluminum foil) in order to heat up the substance enough to liquefy it to make it pliable.
Once I got accustomed to liquifying it first and then using it as a weekly facial mask treatment, this product is GREAT! I understand WHY it has the coconut oil (to give the skin moisture while the bentonite clay draws out impurities (and dries out the skin as a result)) - it just some getting used to.
I want to try the DIY activated charcoal face mask clay as well as the activated charcoal mineral scrub, but it may be some time before I get to use those (I have some other products that I have to try since I already have them in my possession). Maybe I'll pick both of those up during the next big sale so that I have them in my arsenal of skincare products (to use at some point in 2022 😂😂😂)
